Tonari No Totoro

Synopsis

In 1950s Nihon, Tatsuo Kusakabe relocates himself together with his 2 daughters, Satsuki and Mei, to the countryside to be closer to their female parent, who is hospitalized due to long-term disease. As the girls grow acquainted amongst rural life, Mei encounters a small, bunny-similar animate being in the grand ane twenty-four hour period. Chasing it into the forest, she finds “Totoro”—a giant, mystical woods spirit whom she presently befriends. Before long, Satsuki besides meets Totoro, as well as the 2 girls all of a sudden detect their lives filled with magical adventures in nature as well as fantastical creatures of the wood.
